- After retirement from 32 years of teaching, I needed a project! I found both a project and a purpose in making hats for ladies . Now after 3 years of perfecting my craft of designing over 650 hats, I've increased my joy, and added a little to my pocket. Every hat is original in some way as to provide a "one of a kind". This venture has allowed me to give away hats to persons in chemotherapy or any other cause of hair loss. These gifts have brought joy to many.
